Application of Enamel Bolted Tanks in Biogas Fields
CSTR reactor
- CSTR,full name is Continuous Stirring Tank Reactor;A kind of complete stirring reactor,consists of enamel bolted tank,stirring mechanism,waste input/output system,positive/negative pressure protector etc;Stirring mechanism types:Mechanical,Hydraulic and Gas Agitation;Heating Coils as a optional item displayed inside of tank,by using hot water from CHP unit or boiler of burning biogas or coal;Insulating layer as a optional item,to avoid heat leaking in cold areas;CSTR reactor is applied to waste water with high concentration or plenty of suspended particles(8~12%),like pig/cow manure,aerobic activated sludge from sewage treatment works,etc;Waste input: Stable temperature waste input continuously or semi-continuous;Working Principle:Waste enters tank,mixed with microorganism through stirring mechanism,slurry flows out of tank at upper location while residue discharged regularly at bottom exits;Gas holder can be mounted on top of reactor(Integrated CSTR),or be free-standing separated from reactor while top of tank is covered by enamel steel panel etc;Stairs,platform,observation port,pH&temperature measurements,middle support bar,demister,air blower etc to be installed according to actual design;Maximal single capacity is 5,000 cubic meters;
USR reactor
- USR,full name is Up-flow Solids Reactor;Heating Coils as a optional item displayed inside of tank,by using hot water from CHP unit or boiler of burning biogas or coal;Insulating layer as a optional item,to avoid heat leaking in cold areas;USR reactor is applied to waste with high suspended solid particles or low concentration,like poultry manure,vinasse etc;Working Principle:Waste enters tank through bottom entrance,mixed with activated sludge,to be digested quickly;The undigested biomass solid particles and anaerobic microorganism are kept in reactor through natural sedimentation;The supernate flows out of tank at upper exit;In this way,make Solid Retention Time(SRT) and Microorganism Retention Time(MRT) longer than Hydraulic Retention Time(HRT),to make high decomposition rate of solid particles and biogas generation efficiency;Gas holder can be mounted on top of reactor(Integrated USR),or be free-standing separated from reactor while top of tank is covered by enamel steel panel etc;Stairs,platform,observation port,pH&temperature measurements,middle support bar,demister,air blower etc to be installed according to actual design;Maximal single capacity is 1,000 cubic meters,be subject to technical process;
UASB reactor
- UASB,full name is Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket;UASB reactor consists of enamel tank,waste input&water distributor,gas-liquid-sludge separator,water output system,etc;Heating Coils as a optional item displayed inside of tank,by using hot water from CHP unit or boiler of burning biogas or coal;Insulating layer as a optional item,to avoid heat leaking in cold areas;UASB reactor is applied to high concentration industrial organic sewage;Working Principle:Waste water enters reactor at bottom location,through waster distributor,flows up to activated sludge blanket;Biogas is generated at the collision of waste and sludge particles;The generation of biogas makes internal recycling,good for formation and maintenance of sludge particles;The adherent biogas and clean biogas up-flows to bottom of gas-liquid-sludge separator;Pure biogas comes out of sludge floc,then sludge particles sediment to the surface of sludge blanket while pure biogas goes into gas-gathering chamber;Quantities of Gas-liquid-Sludge separators can be one or two according to actual design and characteristics of waste;Gas holder is usually designed to be free-standing separated from reactor while top of tank is covered by gas-moisture separator etc;Stairs,platform,observation port,pH&temperature measurements,demister,air blower etc to be installed according to actual design;EGSB(Expanded Granular Sludge Blanket) is a kind of improved reactor based on UASB,main feature is big anaerobic activated sludge particles;OLR(Organic Loading Rates) is about 6~25kg COD/m3,2~5 times higher than UASB;High height-diameter ratio,floor area occupation less than UASB;Speed of sludge particles sedimentation is faster than bio gas up-flows,avoid sludge running out,operation more stable;With strong shock resistance;Low Operation&Maintenance cost;
