Remarkable Characteristics of HDPE anti-seepage Membranebrane
Application of HDPE Geomembrane for Enclosed Anaerobic Lagoon
There has been a long history in the world for applying HDPE geomembrane to anaerobic fermentation field;Main principle is to make a complete enclosure in the shape of a big lagoon while ratio of length&width is around 1.5 and depth is 5~7 meters,and angle of wall is designed at 45°or 2:1;Multiple pieces of membrane are welded together to make a big floor area of bottom membrane and upper membrane;The sides of bottom&upper membrane are anchored tightly in the anchoring channel whose depth is 1~3m;Pipes&valves and all kinds of waste exits&pumps are installed in advance;Waste water flows into lagoon and flows out automatically;The lagoon would become anaerobic environment generally and activated sludge sediment at bottom of lagoon;Waste retention time is 30~80 days,COD/BOD removal rate is 60~80%;Temperature is 15~30 degree.C,performance is not so stable as bolted tank(CSTR,UASB,EGSB);Low investment and easy operation&maintenance are the biggest advantages;
